Our Story

Sweet Swirls was born from a simple idea: Gilbert, SC deserved its own local ice cream destination — a place where families could gather, friends could catch up, and everyone could find something delicious.

We're Jill and Brad Murray, and having lived in the Leesville area for nearly 20 years, we watched the community growing around us and realized what Gilbert really needed. There were no shops like this around, so we took the leap — and Sweet Swirls opened its doors right in the heart of it all.

From the bright colored walls and big rocking chairs to the couch photo op in the corner, we designed every detail to make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. We serve official Hershey's branded ice cream alongside shakes, coffee, and deli sandwiches — each one named after a local school and its mascot.

Sweet Swirls is truly a family affair. Our children, Kendall and Kaden, are right here alongside us — learning the ropes and helping make every visit a little sweeter. For us, this isn't just a business. It's a way to give back to the community we love and build something our family can be proud of.
